A simple plan before you pack
Holiday pool care suits private residential pools across the Central Coast, subject to availability. Start with your departure and return dates, the pool's current condition, whether anyone will be using it and how it is normally maintained.
We will discuss the number of visits that makes sense for your pool. A short trip may need a different plan from several weeks away. The schedule also depends on the season, equipment, surroundings and whether someone can carry out checks between our visits.
What your holiday-care plan can include
Each plan is quoted around the agreed work, which can include:
- An initial visit to understand the pool and its routine.
- Scheduled skimming, brushing and vacuuming as needed within the agreed scope.
- Emptying accessible baskets and routine filter care.
- Water testing and balancing, with chemical costs agreed in advance.
- A visual check of accessible equipment during each visit.
- A visit update and contact if something needs your decision.
Agree on access and extras in advance
We will confirm how to access the pool and equipment area, whether there are pets on the property and who to contact if you cannot be reached. Share access details securely once the visit is arranged. Please do not put gate or alarm codes in the initial enquiry.
Your quote sets out the visit fees, included work and approach to chemical costs. We also agree on how to handle unexpected issues. Additional visits, replacement parts or work beyond the agreed service are not automatically authorised just because you are away.
Know the limits of a scheduled visit
A pool-care visit is a check at an agreed time, rather than continuous monitoring of the property or equipment. If someone will be using the pool, they remain responsible for supervision and the day-to-day checks needed between visits. Tell us if the usage changes so the plan can be reviewed.
This service is for private residential pools. It does not cover commercial or public pools, property management, pool-fence inspections, electrical repairs or emergency attendance. A green pool or equipment fault may need separate assessment before a holiday-care plan can begin.
Come back to a clear handover
At the end of the plan, we provide a final update on completed visits and any next steps. If treatment has taken place, follow the instructions for testing or waiting before swimming. You can return to your own routine or ask about ongoing maintenance.
A few useful answers.
How much does holiday pool care cost?
It is quoted to your pool and travel dates. The total depends on the visits required, the work included and any agreed chemicals. We confirm the plan and price before booking.
Can you start the day I leave?
Ask as early as you can so there is time to check availability, assess the pool if needed and agree on access. We cannot promise a particular start date until it is confirmed.
Can you help at my holiday home?
We can quote for an owner-only private holiday home while you are away, subject to availability. Holiday rentals, guest accommodation, strata, commercial and public-use pools are outside our routine service.
